Joylyn Secunda (oni/ony/ona) je spoluautorka, performerka, zvukařka, producentka, herečka, mimka, tanečnice a loutkářka žijící ve Vancouveru v Kanadě. Vyrůstala

v rodině muzikantů a na svých prvních dvou samostatných představeních spolupracovala se svými rodiči Davidem Secundou (režisér) a Lindou Arkelian (choreografka).

Joylyn absolvovala turné se svou sólovou mim show The Routine v nespočtech měst po celé Kanadě a Austrálii. Kromě sólové kariéry Joylyn vystupovala i s Kanadskými divadelními společnostmi, včetně National Arts Centre, The Wonderheads a Boca Del Lupo. Vystudovala herectví na University of British-Columbia a studovala

klaunérii u Johna Turnera (Mump & Smoot) a Aitora Basauriho (Spymonkey), pantomimu u Deana Evanse (Cirque du Soleil), fyzické umění v Théâtre Omnibus a autorské divadlo na Dell'Arte International. Joylyn také vede workshopy pantomimy a fyzického divadla.

Joylyn Secunda (they/them) — co-creator, performer, sound designer, producer Joylyn Secunda is a physical theatre artist, actor, dancer, and puppeteer based in Vancouver, Canada. They grew up in a performing arts family and have collaborated with their parents David Secunda (director) and Linda Arkelian (choreographer) on their first two solo shows. Joylyn has toured their solo mime show, The Routine to a dozen cities across Canada and Australia. In addition to their solo career, Joylyn has performed with theatre companies in Canada including the National Arts Centre, The Wonderheads, and Boca Del Lupo. Joylyn was mentored by Crystal Pite in the Startle Reflex Residency. They are a BFA Acting graduate from University of British Columbia and have studied clown with John Turner (Mump & Smoot) and Aitor Basauri (Spymonkey), mime with Dean Evans (Cirque du Soleil), Corporeal mime at Théâtre Omnibus, and devised theatre at Dell’Arte International. Joylyn also teaches mime and physical theatre workshops.
